Then she gets out of the shower and Esteban matter-of-factly hands her a jewelry box. “I have decided we will get married.” The prized family heirloom is an enormous purple ring.

Nancy waits with Andy at the Ren Mar Women’s Health Center. Nancy can’t help but tell a young woman eating a sausage egg McMuffin-type sandwich that it can’t be good for her baby.
